Mohali: 25 Apr, 2012

Kings XI Punjab captain David Hussey won the toss and elected to bat against Mumbai Indians in their IPL 2012 match at Mohali.

Kings XI Punjab have gone ahead with same team which played the last match against Mumbai Indians. While Mumbai Indians have made two changes, Robin Peterson comes in for Pragyan Ojha and Clint McKay replaces Thishara Perera.

In their previous match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium, Kings XI Punjab had beaten Mumbai Indians by four wickets to pull off an unexpected victory.

The major concern for Harbhajan Singh would be to maintain consistency throughout the 40 overs. In most of the previous matches of IPL 2012, Mumbai have faltered in keeping the momentum going. Either their batsmen have thrown away the advantage or their bowlers seem to be giving too much during the death overs.

Kings Xi Punjab on the other hand will be satisfied with their victory. Shaun Marsh regaining form and a handy contribution with the ball from Parwinder Awana, will be a positive sign for Punjab. With Azar Mahmood looking good, Punjab skipper will be far more confident with his playing XI when they walk out at the PCA stadium in Mohali.

While Mumbai will look to add two points and find itself on equal standards with other teams, Punjab will be eager to make further inroads and crawl back to strengthen its campaign.
