Hobart Hurricanes have been pegged back by frequent wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the first of the semi-final of Champions League T20 (CLT20) at Hyderabad. Hobart are 103 for five in 17 overs.

Four of the five wickets so far have been taken by spinners. Shoaib Malik has been leading the charge. The only other batsmen to put on a respectable score was Ben Dunk with 39.

Earlier, Xavier Doherty won the toss and elected to bat first. Tim Paine was ruled out due to an injury. Thus Doherty captained. Hobart brought in Dom Michael in place of Paine. Kolkata Knight Riders were unchanged.
