Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 at the Eden Gardens. Kolkata are through to the next round, but would try to push towards the second spot in the table so that they avoid the Eliminator and have a direct shot at the final. On the other hand, Hyderabad have to win this contest and hope that Mumbai Indians beat Rajasthan Royals the next day, plus the net-run-rate favours them. So, it is somewhat a complicated equation for Hyderabad.

Hyderabad have finally found their batting order, but is it a bit too late. Aaron Finch has moved down the order and Naman Ojha has taken over the No 3 spot. In Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner, they have found a formidable opening combination. This is a crucial combination for them and they have to do the job yet again in this game.

As far as the bowling goes, Dale Steyn and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the ones who would be crucial upfront. If he performs well, Bhuvneshwar can wear the Purple Cap. Karn Sharma and Parvez Rasool are the main spinners in this side, as Amit Mishra has lost his form. For Hyderabad, it would all be about getting their plans in place and executing them.

Kolkata have nothing to lose, but then they would want to push for the second spot. Robin Uthappa is in brilliant form and is their main batsman for this game. Gautam Gambhir has had a couple of tough outings but is in good form. The great thing is that Shakib Al Hasan is in form with the bat and that gives them more depth. Ryan ten Doeschate also adds solidity to the middle-order and would be their finisher.

The bowling is a well-oiled unit with Sunil Narine and Shakib doing a very good job as spinners. But, it would be interesting to see if they go back to Piyush Chawla. Umesh Yadav is also in good form and that is a very good sign heading into the playoffs.

So, we are into the final weekend of the league phase and there is still one place up for grabs. Hyderabad have to win and then depend on other factors to know their fate.
