Kolkata Knight Riders sign promising Kerala batsman for IPL 5
Kerala Cricketer Sanju Viswanadh has been signed up by Kolkata Knight Riders for the fifth edition of the Indian Premier league.

Kerala Cricketer Sanju Viswanadh has been signed up by Kolkata Knight Riders for the fifth edition of the Indian Premier league.

Sanju was part of Kolkata Knight Riders’ future development team for the last few years. Recently he was included in the probables for the U-19 world cup team, Kerala Cricket Association said.

Sanju, a right hand batsman and wicket-keeper, is considered one of the most talented youngsters from Kerala. He has shown tremendous improvement in the past few years, KCA sources said.

A prolific run-getter, he has consistently scored above 1000 runs for the last four years.

This year he had scored a double hundred against Madhya Pradesh in A U-19 Cooch Behar elite group match. He is a regular trainee of the National cricket academy. (PTI)
