Kuldeep Yadav surpasses Michael Bevan; only behind Brad Hogg

Kuldeep Yadav s rise in international cricket has been phenomenal. Since his debut for India, Kuldeep has been knocking over wickets with ease and comfort. In only his 19th ODI, Kuldeep has managed to surpass Michael Bevan. Kuldeep now has 38 wickets as a Chinaman bowler, while Bevan had 36. He is now only behind Brad Hogg who had 156.

Kuldeep, with 14 wickets in the series, has the most wickets by a spinner in a bilateral series in South Africa, after Yuzvendra Chahal and Keith Arthurton. Kuldeep so far has two four-wicket hauls with the best figures of 4 for 23. Kuldeep made his debut against West Indies at Port of Spain in June 2017.

Kuldeep also became only the third Indian bowler to claim a hat-trick in ODIs after Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev. He took his hat-trick against Australia at Eden Gardens in September 2017. His wickets included Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins.
