KXlP appoint Gillespie as new bowling coach

Indian Premier League team Kings Xl Punjab appointed former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie as the bowling coach ahead of their opening match against Pune Warriors to be played on Sunday.
“Bevo (Bevan) and Adam Gilchrist as captain have been working hard to have someone work with their bowlers, which is nice of them,” Gillespie was quoted as saying by The Advertiser.
“I spoke to Bevan Wednesday night and he was keen to have me over there. It is just a matter of having a simple yet effective game plan, go out and do a job and I am there to help.”
“I have made a decision to give it a crack and see where it takes me and opportunities like this don’t come along every day so I thought I had better take it,” he said.
