Amin Pathan, the vice-president of the RCA would take his post after Modi, also the former vice-president of the BCCI was voted out. Along with him, three of his supporters were also removed, reports NDTV Sports.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had suspended RCA in May after Modi was elected as the president. BCCI secretary, Sanjay Patel said to RCA in letter that as per the Clause 32.7 of the Board’s constitution and on orders from then BCCIs interim president, Shivlal Yadav, the association had been banned.

The clause says that any affiliated unit can be suspended for an indefinite period if they flout the image of the governing body. Modi, who was suspended by the BCCI, however has challenged the board’s decision in court.
