Lance Klusener has been named the Coach of the Season at the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Awards. Klusener is the coach of the Sunfoil Dolphins in the South African domestic cricket. Dolphins had earlier won the Fairplay Award. Under the coaching of Klusener, Dolphins won the T20 competition last season, were third in the First-Class tournament and went up to the semi-final in the 50-over tournament.

In his day, Klusener was a hard-hitting batsman and an effective bowler. His exploits with the bat became a stuff of legend in 1999 when he dazzled the World Cup. After his playing days, he took up coaching and was also with the Mumbai Indians team for some time at the Indian Premier League (IPL)
