Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have lost the early wicket of Dwayne Smith in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 Qualifier 1 against the Mumbai Indians (MI). CSK are chasing 188 to win and lost the wicket of Smith in the very first over as he was dismissed leg-before by Lasith Malinga. Smith was hit by Malinga’s full delivery on the pads and was given out leg-before. However, the replays showed that the ball was going down the leg-side and had in fact hit him outside the line. It was a bad decision by the umpire. CSK would now bank on their middle order to come good. Du Plessis then continued and hit Mitchell McClenaghan for a six and a four in the second over. Earlier, MI had won the toss and chosen to bat first. Lendl Simmons scored 65 and Kieron Pollard hit 41 as MI scored 187 for six, which is a good score, but one wonders if that would be enough.
