Last season joint winners Malda and Murshidabad to kick off 2nd Bengal Pro T20 League on Wednesday
Sobisco Smashers Malda and Murshidabad Kings are the reignning joint champions of the Bengal Pro T20 League, and are going to begin the second season of the tournament at Eden Gardens.

Reigning joint champions Sobisco Smashers Malda and Murshidabad Kings are going to begin the second season of the Bengal Pro T20 League at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
The Smashers comprise of a strong line-up that includes India’s pacer Mukesh Kumar along with Wittick Chatterjee, while the Kings will surely count on Sudip Kumar Gharami and youngster Ankit Chatterjee to deliver impressive performances.
The opening ceremony is going to feature a performance by Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan.
The women’s competition is set to being Thursday at JU, 2nd Campus, Salt Lake, with Murshidabad Kueens taking on Harbour Diamonds in the morning match. The match is going to be followed by defending champions Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers’ clash against Servotec Siliguri Strikers in the afternoon.
The men’s league phase is going to continue with double-headers till it is June 24, along with the semifinals being scheduled for June 26 and the final on June 28. All the matches of the tournament are going to be held at Eden Gardens.
The Decision Review System (DRS) is going to be implemented throughout the menâs tournament, whereas it will only be available for the women only in the final.
The womenâs league matches are going to run through June 25, with semifinals on June 27 at Salt Lake and the final at Eden Gardens on June 28.
