Liton Das slammed 274 in 293 balls for East Zone against Central Zone in a Bangladesh Cricket League match at Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium, Rajshahi. This is now the fifth-highest First-Class score by a Bangladeshi. Batting first, Central Zone had put up 546, riding on Abdul Mazid’s 205 and Shadman Islam’s 112. In response, Liton opened batting and helped lift East Zone from 53 for 2. He added 148 with Tasamul Haque, 298 with Afif Hossain. Liton took on five international bowlers during his innings — Mohammad Sharif, Abu Hider, Mosharraf Hossain, Shuvagata Hom, and Elias Sunny.

Liton was eventually trapped leg-before by Sunny, but not before he hit 35 fours and 2 sixes. Here is the list of highest First-Class scores for a Bangladeshi.
