Mohammad Shahzad has been in good form of late and will be eager to play his part in this crucial match so far. Zimbabwe have been in decent form but have peaked at the right time and will want to make of their form. Hamilton Masakadza was appointed captain for this tournament and they have gotten off to the right start under his leadership.

The coaches of both sides have played a crucial role for their respective sides. Zimbabwe have the likes of Dav Whatmore and Heath Streak in their side, whereas Afghanistan have Inzamam ul Haq and Manoj Prabhakar, who have done commendably well with the team. Both the teams will be good addition to the Super 10s, the matches of which start in a few day’s time. But it will be Afghanistan, who will have the psychological edge going into this match.
