Villani yet again proved herself after an excellent innings in previous match alongside the captain.

Live Cricket Update, Australia Women 50/2 | Overs 8| TARGET 92 | BATTING: Elysse Villani 26 (20), Ellyse Perry 6 (13): Australia Women are crumbling with two wickets down already of captain Meg Lanning and Kim Grath gets her first and Ireland get their first breakthrough. Live Cricket Update, Ireland Women 91/6 | Overs 20 | BATTING: Shauna Kavanagh 8 (7): Australia strikes back hard of Ireland with 5 wickets down and Ireland managed to go beyond 85. Can they reach 100 is the question. Megan Schutt is on roll with three wickets in her kitty. Kim Grath who was the next scorer for Ireland also was picked by Megan Schutt. Rene Farrell comes to attack for last over. So far just one and she gets her third as well. Good restrictions by the Aussies. Mary Waldron comes into crease for last two deliveries. Live Cricket Update, Ireland Women 62/2 | Overs 15 | BATTING: Kim Grath 13 (32), Isobel Joyce 3 (8): Another wicket down of Cecelia Joyce now who was moving head to head with Clare Shellington earlier. Entered the crease was her sister and skipper Isobel Joyce and now the runrate has dropped further with target being just 80. Ireland does not look to go beyond 100 runs. Rene Farrell also got a wicket for herself. Megun Schutt completed the the 15th over with just 2 runs from it. OUT! Cecelia Joyce 23 (31) c Kristen Beams b Rene Ferrell

Live Cricket Update, Ireland Women 49/1 | Overs 10 | BATTING: Cecelia Joyce 21 (26), Kim Grath 5 (15): Ireland are going well with their innings and they might proceed to 100 runs from the way they are moving. Of course the rate has slowed down due to Clare’s wicket who was going for consecutive boundaries in an over. The spinners have come into attack and they are doing the job for Australia who were moving at rate of 6 per over and aiming for target of 132. Rene Farrell is bowling and Cecelia Joyce under attack. Cecelia and Kim are exchanging strikes. No run from second last spell. And ends with single.

Live Cricket Update, Ireland Women 33/1 | Overs 5 | BATTING: Cecelia Joyce 10 (10), Kim Grath 0 (1): Ireland know this is their last match and are moving at the right pace. Starting with maiden over and now they have moved to 25 already with Clare Shellington moving to 18 already with a boundary and big six in every over. Clare has struck three consecutive boundaries so far in the 5th over and she finally has to depart. Such a wonderful innings and Megan Schutt does the trick for AUS w. She went for fourth consecutive boundary but missed opportunity. Kim Grath comes into crease. OUT! Clare Shellington 22 (19) b Megan Schutt c Beth Mooney
