Bangladesh off to steady start: Though they lost a wicket, with 9 wickets in hand and 88-run lead, Bangladesh look in a good position.

That is it. Last man falls. Bangladesh take a 43-run lead.

The lead would have been around 100 had Bangladesh held on to a few catches. Australia, however, have been lucky otherwise.

Can Bangladesh put a threatening total for the struggling visitors?

It’s tea: Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins have put up a good partnership now and post tea, their aim will be to continue this batting and take the lead.

Decision overturned: As rarely as that happens, umpire Aleem Dar’s decision has been reviewed and overturned. He thought there was an edge but there wasn’t. Bangladesh’s poor fielding resulted in the current partnership.

GONE!!!! And Australia just keep tumbling as Glenn MAxwell is the latest tp depart for 23 to Shakib after being stumped, sending in Pat Cummins to support Agar. How long can this pair hold?

  • 12:26 PM IST

Australia lose yet another: Matthew Wade departs right after lunch, for 5. The impact is in front of leg but it is pitched out and ball-tracking shows it’s missing leg-stump. It isn’t reviewed, though Australia have two reviews left.

  • 11:46 AM IST

Lunch at Mirpur: Bangladesh have bagged two set batsmen before lunch and it will be hard for Maxwell and Wade to build another partnership soon. Australia under pressure.

  • 11:20 AM IST

Partnership broken: There goes the fifth Australian. There was a partnership building between Matt Renshaw and Peter Handscomb but that has now been broken by experienced Taijul Islam. Glenn Maxwell walks out.

  • 10:19 AM IST

No harm done following the dismissal of Smith as the current batsmen in the form of Renshaw and Handscomb look to settle down, while the Bangladesh bowlers continue to bowl tight, allowing no room for the Aussies to freee their arms. This is certainly turning out to be an interesting encounter from Bangladesh’s perspective.

  • 9:55 AM IST

GONE!!!! Bangladesh continue their dominant start with bowling as well, as Australian skipper Steven Smith to falls for mere eight to Mehedi Hasan, while Peter Handscomb is the new man in. Can the visitors capitalise?

Lyon bagged two wickets on Sunday to surpass Richie Benaud to become Australia’s ninth most successful Test bowler in history. Lyon now has 249 wickets as he dismissed Shakib Al Hasan and Mehedi Hasan. Lyon played 68 matches to achieve the feat, 7 more than Benaud to surpass his numbers. He is now behind Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Dennis Lillee, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Craig McDermott and Jason Gillespie in the list.
