(Bangladesh (BAN) take on England (ENG) in the 33rd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Adelaide. Catch live cricket scores and updates here)
Everyone thought Bangladesh will trouble England with slow bowlers, but the fact that all 10 wickets fell to fast bowlers and seamers proves the poor state England are in. They have won only one match â against Scotland. The margin of loss may be low today (15 runs), but the fact that they lost heavily to New Zealand, Australia and then Sri Lanka shows that England were just poor. Here is Pramod Ananth’s match report of Bangladesh vs England in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 match
Bangladesh have qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 with this win, and so has Sri Lanka. England, Afghanistan and Scotland are out of the race now.
For his brilliant century, Mahmudullah has been named Man of the Match. He says, “Really impressed by the attitude of the boys. Everything went very well. I didn’t think too much, Soumo batted very well. Mushi batted well as well. We were thinking maybe we were 15-20 runs short. Back home it’s really special, thanks to all of them for supporting us here. Tamim is one of the best fielders in our team.”
