Bangladesh won the first One-Day International (ODI) match at Dhaka after Rubel Hossain finished with six-wicket haul, taking a hat-trick in the process.

New Zealand need to win the second ODI against the home side as it will give them a chance to level the series and comeback strong in the third and final match to win the series.

The Black Caps have won only six games out of 16 ODIs over the lat year and looking at their present state, the record might get worse.

Bangladesh are the real dark horses against any team, especially at home. The home side shouldn’t  be underestimated as they have destroyed teams like Australia and India before.

New Zealand face more tough situation as star performer Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the rest two ODIs with a fractured thumb.

Bangladesh won the toss in the second ODI and have made one change as Shamsur Rahman makes his ODI debut replacing Anamul Haque.

Mitchell McClenaghan has been droppped. Williamson and the pacer will be replaced by New Zealand wicketkeeper Tom Latham and  Kyle Mills.

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Shamsur Rahman, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim (c&wk), Naeem Islam, Nasir Hossain, Mahmudullah, Sohag Gazi, Mashrafe Mortaza, Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain.

New Zealand: Hamish Rutherford, Anton Devcich, Grant Elliott, Ross Taylor, Corey Anderson, Brendon McCullum (c&wk), Tom Latham, Jimmy Neesham, Nathan McCullum, Tim Southee, Kyle Mills.
