Bangladesh take on visitors New Zealand in the second and the final Test at Dhaka on Monday. Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat first.

The hosts were impressive in the first Test of the series as they took a slender lead of 32 in the first innings. Sohag Gazi‘s all-round performance stood out as he scored a century, took six wickets and recorded a hat-trick. Bangladesh will be eager to start winning Test matches consistently. For New Zealand they will be looking to play positive cricket get their confidence before they face tough opponents.

Bangladesh would hope to challenge the higher ranked opponents.

New Zealand made one change bringing Neil Wagner ahead of struggling left-arm spinner Bruce Martin. For Bangladesh Robiul Islam misses out due to injury. In his place Al-Amin Hossain the medium pacer makes his debut for Bangladesh.
