New Zealand were 419 for eight at the end of the third day of the second Test against Bangladesh at Dhaka on Wednesday. Corey Anderson’s century powered New Zealand to a decisive first innings lead that has helped the visitors to be on top.

Shakib Al Hasan took five wickets for 97 runs and bowled consisten stump-to-stump line. He was instrumental in keeping hosts interested in the game with his wonderful bowling. The fifth wicket stand of 140 was decisive in the final analysis.

Ish Sodhi the New Zealand leg-spinner is unbeaten on 57 while BJ Watling is unbeaten on 62 at stumps on Day Three.
