(Can Bangladesh continue from where they left off in the limited overs or will Pakistan stop their run? Catch Live Cricket scores and updates here)

As the umpires call stumps for Day 3, it has been another excellent show with the bat by the Pakistan batsmen, especially by Mohammad Hafeez, who exquisite knock of 224 and also registering his maiden 200, along with becoming the topmost Pakistan batsman with highest individual score against Bangladesh has undoubtedly put his team on the frontfoot. Bangladesh, however, have been on the backfoot, butit won;t take long to bounce them back as it is a matter of just a couple of dismissals. It would be interesting to see what transpires on Day 4.

It has been a pleasure to bring you the updates and would see you all again tomorrow. Until then, it’s goodbye from Ayush Gupta here, but before you go, catch the day report here.

Pakistan 522/5 | Overs 143

Asad Shafiq 49 (87), Sarfaraz Ahmed 38 (40)

The 500 is up for Pakistan and an average lead has been gained over Bangladesh’s first innings, as the batsmen still look to bat on and gain a heavy lead, while Bangladesh bowlers trying to give everything as the day comes to a close.

Pakistan 498/5 | Overs 138

Asad Shafiq 45 (77), Sarfaraz Ahmed 19 (19)

Despite following the dismissal of Misbah, the pace of Pakistan innings remains the same and it’s the current batsmen who continue to play in the same manner and continue to score runs as well as maintain the run-rate, as they near 500.

Pakistan 470/5 | Overs 133

Asad Shafiq 35 (65), Sarfaraz Ahmed 1 (1)

OUT! Misbah-ul-Haq c Rubel Hossain b Taijul Islam 59 (122)

GONE, and it’s the skipper, Misbah who falls for a healthy 59. Just as I was saying, he is looking in good touch, he falls after going for a big shot and handing catch to Rubel Hossain at backward square off Taijul Islam owing yo a mis-timed shot.

Pakistan 459/4 | Overs 128

Misbah-ul-Haq 56 (115), Asad Shafiq 28 (43)

Good five overs for Pakistan as skipper, Misbah has scored his 27th half-century in Tests cricket, followed by Pakistan bringing up their 450. Misbah looks to be in real good touch and is playing some good cricket as he is going after his shots occasionally.

Pakistan 436/4 | Overs 123

Misbah-ul-Haq 43 (78), Asad Shafiq 13 (30)

The post-tea session continues to be a slow start for Pakistan as the batsmen seem to be in a semi-defensive mood and not going for the shots, while Bangladesh bowlers look determined to get the batsmen out as soon as possible.

Pakistan 421/4 | Overs 117

Misbah-ul-Haq 43 (78), Asad Shafiq 6 (14)

Godd gameplay by Pakistan so far as they have earned a 89-run lead so far. There is a long way to go still and Pakistan players would look to finish on a high. Misbah, meanwhile is approaching his half-century, as the tea brek kicks in.

Pakistan 404/4 | Overs 112

Misbah-ul-Haq 33 (61), Asad Shafiq 1 (1)

OUT! Mohammad Hafeez c Mahmudullah b Shuvagata Hom 224 (332)

Pakistan 390/3 | Overs 108

Mohammad Hafeez 223 (327), Misbah-ul-Haq 22 (43)

Pakistan batsmen continue to steer on, as Bangladesh bowlers are struggling again to get a breakthrough.  The batsmen, especially Misbah is currently playing skillfully as the partnership is worth 50-runs.

Pakistan 371/3 | Overs 103

Mohammad Hafeez 208 (310), Misbah-ul-Haq 18 (30)

Mohammad Hafeez gets to his maiden 200 and also becomes the Pakistan batsman to have the highest ever individual score against Bangladesh in Test cricket. he surpasses Mohammad Yousuf’s record. Pakistan continue to get stronger in this game and scale higher.

Pakistan 357/3 | Overs 97

Mohammad Hafeez 200 (291), Misbah-ul-Haq 12 (13)

It’s the maiden 200 for Mohammad Hafeez. Brilliant knock by Hafeez under pressure. Good support from the other end has also made this possible.

Pakistan 339/3 | Overs 92

Mohammad Hafeez 194 (273), Misbah-ul-Haq 0 (1)

OUT! Younis Khan b Taijul Islam 33 (68)

Post-lunch session starts off and a wicket early on as its the veteran, Younis Khan who is bowled by Taijul Islam for 33. Younis was looking strong, but a beautiful delivery from Tijul proved too good for him to play the stroke.

Lunch break. Read lunch report here

Pakistan 333/2 | Overs 88

Mohammad Hafeez 190 (260), Younis Khan 31 (58)

Well, finally, the lead is taken, although its just a slender lead by a run, Pakistan have managed to impress and have gone ahead of Bangladesh. Hafeez is just 10 short of another knock, while Younis continues to bat freely and is scoring runs quickly, as the lunch break kicks in.

Pakistan 316/2 | Overs 82

Mohammad Hafeez 185 (247), Younis Khan 21 (35)

The 300 is up for Pakistan as both Hafeez and Younis are steering the innings good. Hafeez is also approaching his 200 and is on the verge of becoming the highest run scorer for Pakistan against the Bangladesh.

Pakistan 289/2 | Overs 77

Mohammad Hafeez 175 (238), Younis Khan 4 (14)

Well, it seems the dismissal of Azhar has given something to the Bangladesh bowlers as they are tightening the screws and are turning the ball to a great extent, making them difficult to play the shots.

Pakistan 278/2 | Overs 72

Mohammad Hafeez 167 (221), Younis Khan 1 (1)

OUT! Azhar Ali b Shuvagata Hom 83 (177)

Finally, a breakthrough for Bangladesh as the all-important partnership of 227 runs, is broken by Shuvagat Hom, who dismisses Azhar Ali for 83 after knocking out his middle stump. Younus Khan comes to join Hafeez, who has scored his 150 runs and has become the Pakistan opener with the highest score against Bangladesh in Tests.

Pakistan 236/1 | Overs 60

A steady start to the day by both the teams as after couple of overs, its still the same. Shakib starts off with a good over for just four, while Hafeez approaches his 150.
