He beats Stiaan van Zyl all ends up on the very first ball.A good start to the innings for Bangladesh, they will want wickets with the new ball though. Taijul Islam bowls from the other end.

A decent innings from Bangladesh but they will know they could not made more of the platform provided by their bowlers. They had many players who got starts but not many carried it forward and converted those into big ones. They have managed to get a lead of 78 runs and will hope to take down a few South Africa wickets before they wipe out the lead.

He swings one towards deep mid-wicket as Stiaan van Zyl takes a good catch. Taijul Islam comes in to join Litton Das who brings up his maiden Test fifty. And get out in a weird manner. Das looked to defend but got an inside edge. de Kock grabbed it in front of the stumps and disturbed the stumps at the same time. But he caught it cleanly and that is the wicket of Das for a well made half-century.

Will be interesting how Litton Das plays from here.

Shakib gets going with a couple of boundaries in the last over.

Live cricket score: Bangladesh 195/5 | Overs 73 | Trail by 53 runs| Batting: Litton Das 0(1), Shakib Al Hasan 4(23): There was a leg before appeal against M Rahim. Two batsmen for Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim are out in the middle to bat. South Africa start the day with Stiaan van Zyl for some reason. Not sure if that is the right way to go, you have three of the best Test bowlers but you start with a part-timer?

Pitch report: The deck looks a bit sticky and the ball might hold up a bit more. Batting will be tougher. Runs might not be that easy to come by. Morne van Wyk reckons that one must apply himself to score on this deck. There is rain predicted for the day today too, fingers crossed.
