Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of the fourth day of the first Test between Bangladesh and South Africa at Chittagong. This is Nikhil Popat, and I will be bringing you the live cricket scores and updates of the match. Bangladesh will be itching to get batting on this two-paced deck. Rain did not let the third session go as planned on fourth day as well.  Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for a score of 326 and got a lead of 78, the openers from South Africa have wiped off most of it and will look to build on the lead. 0100 IST: Well the rain has had the final say and the play has bee called off for the day. See you all tomorrow! Hope the rain clears for us to get some play tomorrow.

1207 pm IST: Rain continues to spit at Chittagong, the forecast is not that good either, let’s hope we clears at some point of time and we get some play.

Rain has ensured that this Test now hangs by a fine thread, a collapse here will see Bangladesh dominating but if South Africa get away with some runs with the top order, they will look to put pressure on the home side by putting up a good total on board and then try and take ten wickets to win the game and lead the series.

Bangladesh were bowled out for a score of 326, gaining a slender lead of 78 runs. They will rue the fact that they did not convert their starts into big scores and missed a chance.
