Soumya Sarkar – Man of the Match for his special 90 and is also the Man of the Series. A magnificent win for Bangladesh, they first bowled superbly as a team to keep South Africa to a score of 168 and then the openers did the bulk of the job and the hosts have romped to a 9-wicket win! Tamim Iqbal – It is a huge moment, beating South Africa is not an easy task, Soumo [Soumya Sarkar] played superbly, winning is like a habit so now we back ourselves to beat any team. We need to take it through to Tests, it is an area we can improve on!

This is still a challenging total for Bangladesh from here on. South Africa were in danger but David Miller got them back on track. The rain intervened and then Miller fell soon for 44. JP Duminy then took over and ensured that South Africa got to a good total on the board despite wickets falling at regular intervals. Shakib Al Hasan was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladehsh with three for 33. Duminy with his 51 was the highest scorer for South Africa.

Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of the third One-Day International (ODI) between Bangladesh and South Africa, this is Nikhil Popat here and I will be bringing you the live cricket scores and updates of this match. The three-match ODI series is evenly poised at 1-1 with the hosts Bangladesh winning the second ODI in a commanding manner. South Africa had started off the series well with an emphatic win but they failed to carry the momentum in the second game of the series. The third ODI, will thus, be the series decider. The first leg of the South Africa tour of Bangladesh 2015 was of a two-match Twenty20 series, which the tourists won comfortably 2-0. PREVIEW: Bangladesh vs South Africa, 3rd ODI at Chittagong

Toss: South Africa have won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh are unchanged from the previous game while South Africa have made one change, they have brought back their pace bowler Morne Morkel in place of Chris Morris.

Before the start of the ODIs, it was expected that the hosts will put up a tough challenge for the South Africans and they lived up to their expectations. After being beaten convincingly in the first game, Bangladesh bounced back and thrashed the South African by seven wickets in the next one. It was Bangladesh’s second ever victory against the Proteas in any format. The elegance and class of Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah saw Bangladesh through in the last game. The hosts will again depend on them to produce the goods.
