Good Morning, সুপ্রভাত, සුභ උදෑසනක්! Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog session of Day 2 of the first of the two-Test series between visitors Bangladesh and hosts Sri Lanka, at the Galle International Stadium on Wednesday. I am Paulami Chakraborty, and I will be bringing to you the live updates from today’s action. Sri Lanka had a fruitful opening day, as they managed to lose just four wickets, while they have so far posted a decent total of 321, courtesy of the big knock so far by Kusal Mendis. He is currently unbeaten on 166, and is being backed to get a double ton as well, while he is being supported by Niroshan Dickwella at the other end. How will Bangladesh react on Day 2 Full Cricket Scorecard: Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test at Galle

Galle is one ground that is known to be partial towards the spinners. The pitch traditionally starts deteriorating early and gives a cue to the captains to unleash their spinners. Bangladesh contradicted the concept, playing three pacers in the form of Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and young Subhashis Roy. Mustafizur’s mystery has been decoded to some  extent and his attack does not look as lethal as it was during his introduction to world cricket. The off-cutter specialist took his own time on Tuesday to find the right spot.

Sri Lanka have already piled on over 300 runs and on Day Two, they will look to take it to somewhere close to 500, if not past that. On the brighter side for Bangladesh, there is the probability of Sri Lanka losing the momentum on Wednesday morning and ending their innings shortly after lunch.
