    Bangladesh lose both their reviews! Shakib had taken another review earlier and this time it was Mushfiqur who went upstairs. No bat at all their but the ball misses the stumps, on-field umpire’s decision prevails.
    A chance produced there by Shakib who is sure of getting Dilruwan Perera, pitched in line, hitting the stumps but umpire not interested and no reviews left for Bangladesh.

    Dickwella departs! Tried to play it fine but both Mushfiqur and the short leg fielder were well aware of the shot. Dickwella gets the top edge and Mushfiqur holds on to a great, well anticipated catch. Sri Lanka have now lost 5 wickets post lunch and are in danger.

    Karunaratne’s 100! A timely knock from the opener as he held his ground amidst landslide of wickets. Needs someone to match up to him at the other end to push the lead to a good 150 or more from this stage. Dickwella’s wicket will be a crucial one from that aspect.

Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog post for Day Four of the second Test in the 2016-17 Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh series. Here you will get all the live updates and scores of the deciding final Test of the series. The match is being played at the P Sara Oval, Colombo. Sri Lanka are ahead 1-0 in the series and will bat on Day Four, trailing Bangladesh by 75 runs in the match. Upul Tharanga and Dimuth Karunaratne, both the Sri Lanka openers, are batting at individual scores of 25 each and will resume as Sri Lanka have 54 runs on the board. Day Three belonged to the visitors, who made a comeback into the match with Shakib Al Hasan taking the charge. Bangladesh resumed batting on Day Three with 214 for 5 on the board, trailing by 124 runs. Shakib batted with class, putting in all his experience, to score 116 runs which strengthened the Bangladesh innings. Mushfiqur Rahim (52) and Mosaddek Hossain (75) contributed further and Bangladesh’s innings ended on 467 runs, with a lead of 129 runs on the board. Rangana Herath and Lakshan Sandakan were the highest wicket-takers with 4 wickets each. Herath meanwhile completed his 1,000 First-Class wickets.

The openers, having spent quite some time at the pitch now, will be expected to take the Lankan innings forward and build big on the partnership. Sri Lanka’s batting is quite deep and with names like Kusal Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal, Asela Gunaratne and Niroshan Dickwella waiting to come out and bat, regaining lead does not seem a tough job at this point.
