Baroda suffered a heart-breaking seven-run loss at the hands of Tamil Nadu in their first match at Chennai, but will be encouraged by the efforts they put into the game. Chasing 122 to win, Baroda were bundled out for just 114, thanks to a five-wicket haul from Rahil Shah. Railways, on the other hand, suffered a thumping innings defeat at the hands of Punjab, after Gurkeerat Singh scored a magnificent double century.Railways will be looking to get their acts together against a Baroda team, who are surely not short of talent in their ranks.

It remains to be seen how they perform with the ball against a confident Railways.

It is controlled by the Ministry of Railways, with a player requiring to complete three years of employment in order to be eligible for membership, aside from passing the various fitness Tests. The biggest stars for Railways are Karn Sharma and Anureet Singh. Karn, who hails from Meerut, has been on the national selector’s radar for quite some time now, has played a Test, and has been a regular feature in the India A. Anureet, on the other hand, made it to the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) side after a good domestic season in 2013-14.
