The Comilla Victorians(CV) the champions of the last season, are lying at the bottom of the table and are out of contention in this season while Barisal Bulls (BB)are at the second position from  the bottom and they too have been knocked out of the tournament.

The Comilla Victorians, led by Mashrafe Mortaza have been the worst of their form in the BPL 2016-17. So far they have played 8 matches in the tournament and have won just one and hence have just 2 points in their account. Their today’s opponents, the Barisal Bulls side which is captained by Mushfiqur Rahim too have been in the worst of their forms. The Bulls have played 9 matches and have 3 out of them while they have lost the rest of. With these three wins, they have 6 points in their kitty.

But all these stats actually won’t matter as both teams have knocked out of the tournament. Their batsmen have failed to score runs while their bowlers have failed to keep their opposition in check.
