Warner missed out on a century as he fell for 85, while Rogers too missed out on a milestone when he fell for 47. Rogers would be ruing to have missed out an opportunity as the pitch did not offer much assistance to the bowlers.

Michael Clarke was given out for 15 on what looked like a very tight call. The Australian captain was not expecting a fairytale ending and he walked off soon after being given a Guard of Honour by the England cricketers when he came out to bat.
