England take on South Africa in the final One-Day International against South Africa at Trent Bridge on Wednesday.

England earlier won the toss and elected to bat first.

Ian Bell‘s half-century and an inspired bowling performance helped England trump South Africa in their fourth One-Day International at Lord’s by six wickets and take a 2-1 lead in their five-match series on Sunday.

Chasing a modest total of 221 to win, England scored 224 for four from 46.4 overs.

Bell scored a fluent 88 off 137 balls hitting one six and eight boundaries to lead England s reply.

Bell added 104 runs for the second wicket with Jonathan Trott to lead England s recovery after they lost Alastair Cook early on.
