Hyderabad batted first on Day One after Goa won the toss and elected to field. Hyderabad ended the day on 246 for 6 after skipper Hanuma Vihari top-scored with 82. B Anirudh and Akash Bhandari are the two unbeaten batsmen overnight. Akshath Reddy contributed 41 before getting dismissed caught and bowled by Shadab Jakati, but it was a fairly uneventful day besides those two half-centuries. On Day two, Hyderabad got to 325/9 before declaring the innings. Goa went to stumps at a score of 47 for one, with Amogh Desai being the sole casualty for 14 runs. LIVE CRICKET SCORE: Goa 90/1 in 21 Overs; Swapnil Asnodkar 25 (64), RR Singh 32 (46) — Goa start on a positive note as well on Day 3 as both the batsmen look to bat it out at least for the session and make sure they keep goa in a good position, and not suffer setbacks early in the day. Both the batsmen seem to be in a good touch as of now.

Swapnil Asnodkar and RR Singh went to stumps unbeaten after getting thoroughly tested by the Hyderabad bowlers. They’ll want to close in on the deficit of 278 runs. Swapnil Asnodkar is a batsman of great ability and he will have to lead the way with the bat. The way it stands currently, it is quite a tricky position for Goa. They would have been in a far less precarious position had they not lost a single wicket.

Hyderabad bowlers will be eyeing early wickets on Day Three so as to not allow Goa to build a threatening partnership. The immediate focus for Hyderabad will be to prevent Goa from surpassing their first innings total so that they can secure the points for a first-innings lead, in case of a draw. After that is achieved, they could look forward to attack and build a lead.
