Hola! Welcome everyone to CricketCountry’s coverage of the first day of the three-day game between India A and Bangladesh A. The visitors lost the one-dayers and also the first three-day match — which was played against Ranji Trophy champions Karnataka — and will want to try and finish the tour with some success. India A skipper Shikhar Dhawan will aim to set a tune for the upcoming marathon series against South Africa starting next month. It will be interesting to watch how young players like Shreyas Iyer take the advantage of this incredible opportunity to play with the likes of Dhawan, Ravindra Jadeja and Varun Aaron, who have already made a mark on the international level. IND 161/1 | Overs 33 | Live Cricket Score India A vs Bangladesh A, 3-day game at Bengaluru, Day 2: Dhawan will look to continue good show

The 21-year-old Shreyas Iyer joins skipper Dhawan out in the middle, what an incredible opportunity for him to bat with one of the best cricketers of the world at present. OUT! Abhinav Mukund b Shuvagata Hom 34(78)
Live cricket score India A 142/0 | Overs 25 | Batting: Shikhar Dhawan 107(95), Abhinav Mukund 30(58): A boundary from Dhawan and it is an excellent hundred for the skipper and he needed just 95 balls for it. His 95-ball 102 is inclusive of 15 boundaries and two sixes.
Live cricket score India A 83/0 | Overs 16 | Batting: Shikhar Dhawan 62(59), Abhinav Mukund 14(37): A boundary from Dhawan and it is half-century for him. 10 fours already for him, Dhawan is clearly dominating the young Bangladeshi attack. Meanwhile, Abhinav is not looking to go for the big shots, just two fours for him in 37 balls.
Live cricket score India A 26/0 | Overs 5 | Batting: Shikhar Dhawan 12(13), Abhinav Mukund 10(18): Dhawan is yet to take a single, his 12 runs have come from three boundaries having faced 13 balls so far. Meanwhile, either Ruble Hossian and Shafiul Islam have to strike early in order to ensure the big man does not get going because it is a known fact, when Dhawan settles on the crease, he rarely gives any chances for the opponents to trouble him.
Live cricket score India A 16/0 | Overs 4 | Batting: Shikhar Dhawan 12(11), Abhinav Mukund 4(12): Shafiul Islam and Rubel Hossain have started bowling for the visitors. While Dhawan has starting taking on the bowlers with three fours already to his name, Abhinav seems to be taking the slower way.
Live cricket score Bangladesh A 228/8 | Overs 52.4 | Batting: Sabbir Rahman 122(131): A sixth duck of the day, after the top order, this time it was the Hossains– Jubair and Rubel–who were dismissed without scoring a run. He came in to bat when Varun Aaron’s spell had sent back three players of the top order back to the pavilion in a matter of three overs, and Rehman still continues to bat and his innings has 18 fours and one six so far in 115 balls.
Live cricket score Bangladesh A 188/6 | Overs 42 | Batting: Sabbir Rahman 82(98): When the partnership between Shuvagata and Rehman was working for the visitors, Varun Aaron again does the job, dismissed the former for a 95-ball 62 in the 42nd over. As Saqlain Sajib is the new batsman in, Rehman is the only batsman left for Bangladesh now. Aaron already has four wickets to his name, can he get a five-wicket haul before the day ends? OUT! Shuvagata Hom c Karun Nair b Varun Aaron 62(95)
Live cricket score Bangladesh A 182/5 | Overs 41.4 | Batting: Shuvagata Hom 62(94), Sabbir Rahman 86(102): Ravindra Jadeja has already bowled 10 overs, no success yet. Shikhar Dhawan will want Varun Aaron who got the early breakthroughs in the first four overs, to repeat that spell, if Shuvagata and Rehman go on to hit a ton each, that will nullify India’s excellent start to day one of the three-day game.
Live cricket score Bangladesh A 173/5 | Overs 40 | Batting: Shuvagata Hom 58(90), Sabbir Rahman 82(98): Finally, the visitors have built a partnership, the last wicket fell in the 14th over and since then Bangladesh have added about 125 runs on board. Can he survive the Indian attack? Let’s see! OUT! Nasir Hossain c Naman Ojha b Abhimanyu Mithun 32(28)
Live cricket score Bangladesh A 50/4 | Overs 13.4 | Batting: Nasir Hossain 28(23), Sabbir Rahman 16(28): Finally, fifty for the visitors. Both these batsmen are trying their best to bring back Bangladesh’s innings on track. Nasir Hossain was the top scorer in one-dayers seriss with 176 runs that included a century and fifty and eight wickets to his name. Also, he was the top wicket-taker with eight scalps from three games. It is very important for him to stick around till the end to ensure they post a decent total against the side that includes the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Naman Ojha, Ravindra Jadeja and local talents like Shreyas Iyer.
Live cricket score Bangladesh A 29/4 | Overs 8 | Batting: Nasir Hossain 18(11), Sabbir Rahman 9(12): A third wicket for Varun Aaron, Liton Das departs for a nine-ball duck in the sixth over. Nasir Hossain is the new man in and it will not be wrong to assume hew is the last hope left for the visitors for today. If he is dismissed early, it will be difficult seeing Bnagladesh even reaching to a score of 60 or 70. OUT! Liton Das c Baba Aparajith b Varun Aaron 0(9)
