India have reached a score of 102 runs for the loss of five wickets at the end of 25 overs in the tenth One-Day International (ODI) of the CB Series in Sydney.

Chasing a modest total of 253 runs, India lost opener Virender Sehwag early as he was dismissed for just 5 runs. Chasing the elusive hundredth ton for almost a year, Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar was run out for 14 runs. Tendulkar left the field agitated as he was obstructed by Brett Lee at the striker s end.

The Indian middle-order soon began to collapse with the Indian captain MS Dhoni still batting on 6 runs.

Earlier, Australia s stand-in captain, Shane Watson decided to bat first after winning the toss. Making a comeback in the Indian team, Praveen Kumar grabbed early wickets as Australia s stand-in captain Shane Watson was his first victim after scoring just one run.

Kumar was the most successful Indian bowler with two wickets conceding only 37 runs. But David Warner looked at his best scoring at brisk pace. But he eventually feel to spinner Ravindra Jadeja for 68 runs.

Opener David Warner top scored for Australia with 68 runs before being dismissed by spinner Ravindra Jadeja. Part time bowler Virender Sehwag also contributed with three useful wickets as Australia were restricted to a modest score on Sunday.

India need another 151 runs from 25 overs to win the tenth One-Day International (ODI) at the SCG.
