A win on English soil remains elusive for India after England registered a three-wicket win over the tourist to go two-up in the five-match ODI series at the Kennigston Oval on Friday.

Chasing a modest 235, England were cruising before rain stopped and the target was revised to 218 in 43 overs.

Craig Kieswetter scored 71-ball 51 to give England a solid start.

India managed to claw back in to the match with quick wickets, but Tim Bresnan and Ravi Bopara put up a 60-run partnership to thwart any chances of a India win.

In the end Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann and saw India through with seven balls to spare.
