Overall a brilliant display from Team India to win all the series against England.

England tour of India ends, finally. The first match started on November 9, yes the day the 500 and 1000 notes got banned in India and Donald Trump won the elections.
Hope you enjoyed our coverage. In just over a week’s time, we will be back with Bangladesh’s one-off Test in India. Until then, enjoy our other international coverage.

He plays the balance act to finally catch it. Third umpire is called and he rules it in the fielder’s favour. FIVE for Chahal. Jordan come out, he is gone. Dhoni compoletes the stumping. What a collapse!

LIVE – ENGLAND 123/5 (15) | Ben Stokes 2 (4), Moeen Ali 2 (2): Bumrah is into the attack. Starts with a dot ball to Buttler. He dismissed Buttler at Nagpur in the final over. Can he get the better of him, again? Yes he does. Very doon. The ball hurries on to him, Buttler looking to pull, gets a top edge and Kohli takes it.

0,Wkt,1,1,1,1. Four from it and a wicket.

OUT! Jos Buttler c Virat Kohli b Jasprit Bumrah 0 (2)

  • 10:02 PM IST
LIVE – ENGLAND 119/4 (14) | Jos Buttler 0 (0), Ben Stokes 0 (2): Chahal replaces Raina. Mishra’s over pulled things back for India after that good over. Morgan falls to Chahal’s googly. Looks to sweep and Pant takes a catch at deep midwicket. Root is on strike. The fast flipper gets him. It hurries on to Root and umpire gives it in India’s favour. Chahal on hat-trick. Stokes denies him. What an over. Just 2 from it and 2 key wickets.

England need 84 from 36 balls.

OUT! Eoin Morgan c Rishabh Pant b Yuzvendra Chahal 40 (21)
OUT! Joe Root lbw b Yuzvendra Chahal 42 (37)
  • 9:56 PM IST
LIVE – ENGLAND 117/2 (13) | Joe Root 41 (35), Eoin Morgan 39 (19): Mishra to bowl his final over. 1, 1 and dropped. Misunderstanding between Yuvraj and Pant at gully and point respectively. A chance goes. Good over from Mishra. Only 3. He finishes with 4-0-23-1. Could have been 2 wickets.

England need 86 from 42 balls.
  • 9:52 PM IST
LIVE – ENGLAND 114/2 (12) | Joe Root 41 (31), Eoin Morgan 38 (18): Raina is into the attack. Root gives a single to his captain, who dismisses him over the deep midwicket for a six. He follows it with one over extra-cover for another six. And the third SIX! He bowls it short and Morgan hoists it over deep square leg. 20 from this over already. Dhoni and Raina are having a chat in the middle. 2 singles to end it.

England need 89 from 48 balls.
  • 9:47 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 92/2 (11) | Joe Root 38 (28), Eoin Morgan 19 (14): Mishra continues. Morgan gets a single. Root attempts a sweep but misses. Root steps out and smacks it straight only for a single. Morgan tries the same but Rahul makes a brilliant save. Kept down to two.

  • 9:46 PM IST
Only one dot in his third over.

  • 9:42 PM IST
    Certainly, one of the smartest:

  • 9:41 PM IST
LIVE – ENGLAND 86/2 (10) | Joe Root 36 (25), Eoin Morgan 15 (11): Pandya to continue. England could have sent in Stokes or Buttler. I would have preferred Buttler at this stage. India did benefit from promoting Dhoni. Buttler hasn’t fired but we know how dangerous he can be. In the mean time, Root steps out, Pandya bowls it shorter but he smacks it hard to clear the midwicket boundary. Pandya comes back good to bowl two dot balls.

England need 117 from 60 balls.
  • 9:36 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 77/2 (9) | Joe Root 29 (21), Eoin Morgan 13 (9): Morgan gets a boundary through cover. He follows it with a reverse sweep for another boundary. 13 from the Mishra over.

  • 9:32 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 64/2 (8) | Joe Root 28 (20), Eoin Morgan 1 (4): Pandya starts with a length ball and Root flicks it over midwicket for a six. I would rate this as the shot of the innings. He does it much like Kevin Pietersen. Root does not need to slog when he can play strokes like those. However, he does not look very comfortable when he charges down. 6, 0, 1, 0, 0 and 1.

  • 9:27 PM IST
    Congrats, Mishra!

  • 9:27 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 56/1 (7) | Joe Root 21 (17), Eoin Morgan 0 (1): Amit Mishra is into the attack. He strikes! Mishra bowls it outside off and gets to turn it away, Roy looking to sweep, gets a top edge and Dhoni completes a simple catch. Four dot balls, Root sweeps for a single. Greets Morgan with a quicker one that zoots past his outside edge.1 from the over and wicket. England had raced to 55 for 1 in Powerplay, India were 53 for 1.

OUT! Jason Roy c MS Dhoni b Amit Mishra 32 (23)

  • 9:21 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 55/1 (6) | Jason Roy 32 (21), Joe Root 20 (14): Nehra is bowling his 3rd over. So no saving 2 from him at the death. He starts with a wide. Root looks to slog but misses it. Why would you slog when you can play those glorious strokes? Root looks for a quick single, Pandya hits the stumps but the bails do not come off. What’s happening? Root strokes it over off-side for another boundary. This is good stuff and pleasing to the eye. End of Powerplay.

  • 9:16 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 44/1 (5) | Jason Roy 27 (19), Joe Root 15 (10): Bumrah is into the attack. Roy greets him with a lofted stroke for a boundary. In the previous over, Dhoni missed a stumping of Roy’s. It might go on to be the game changer. That’s Root’s class. He plays it late for a boundary. Cuts it beautifully. He is so good at playing it late.

  • 9:10 PM IST

  • 9:07 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 25/1 (3) | Jason Roy 14 (11), Joe Root 9 (6): 4,1,4,0,0 and 4. Roy starts with a lemon cut but the over sees two glorious boundaries hit off Root’s bat. 13 from Nehra’s over.

  • 9:05 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 12/1 (2) | Jason Roy 9 (9), Joe Root 1 (2): Terrific! The leg-spin of Yuzvendra Chahal is greeted with a reverse sweep for six. That is terrific. Shot of the series. Chahal comes back well to dismiss Billings. England lose their opener early. An inside-edge to the pad and Raina takes a neat catch at slips. Umpire calls for a replay. Comedy of errors. India miss a run out chance. What was Chahal doing there? It was a clear run out. The final ball sees hilarity as well. Mishra tumbles unattractively but stops the ball.

  • 8:56 PM IST

LIVE – ENGLAND 1/0 (1) | Jason Roy 0 (6), Sam Billings 0 (0): Huge appeal from Raina as Roy looking to let go of the ball was struck on the pads. Kohli looks unhappy and demands questions from the umpire. Brilliant over from Nehra. A maiden and that too against Roy. Only one leg-bye.

Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog and updates for the third T20I between India and England at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. I, Suvajit Mustafi, will bring you the live updates from today’s game. After winning the back-to-back series (Tests and ODIs), Virat Kohli is eyeing win in his first-ever T20I series as captain. The T20I series is levelled 1-1 and England have a chance to go home with some smiles. The M Chinnaswamy Stadium, host to Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL will host the decider. Though India start favourites in the match, it must be remembered here that England were runners-up in last year’s World T20, also in India. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: India vs England, 3rd T20I at Bengaluru

For the first time in this tour England have an opportunity to win a series heading into the final match. England’s bowling had let them down in the ODIs and Tests, but the arrivals of Tymal Mills and Chris Jordan have boosted their bowling in the T20I series. Indians have found Moeen Ali difficult to decode. All three of them will hold key for England at Bengaluru. Jordan, who has played for RCB, knows this ground well. A flat track and a lightening outfield are expected at this venue so it would not be easy for the bowlers on the either side.

India will draw some confidence from the way Jasprit Bumrah and Ashish Nehra bowled in the Nagpur T20I. In fact, England were in lead till the 40th over of the match before Bumrah produced a special to script a memorable win. IND vs ENG, 3rd T20I at Bengaluru: Kohli seeks series win amidst his very own RCB crowd

India’s batting has been ordinary. Barring KL Rahul, none of the batters have had a good run in this series. This being Kohli’s IPL home ground, he will be expected to step up to the occasion. With the middle-order not clicking, it would not be a bad idea to promote MS Dhoni or Hardik Pandya. England, on the other hand, will hope one of their openers (Sam Billings or Jason Roy) to play a longer innings. The middle-order is in good form courtesy captain Eoin Morgan (also former RCB) and Joe Root. They will hope the likes of Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Moeen to come to the party.

Despite its reputation of being a placid batting surface, Bengaluru has not really produced high-scoring international T20s. The last T20I played here, between India and Bangladesh in the 2016 World T20, was a moderate-scoring affair. Do not be surprised if this turns out to be another contest where the bowlers have the last say. IND vs ENG Live Streaming: Watch IND Vs ENG T20 live on Hotstar
