Indian bowlers restricted England to 158 for the loss of six wickets as part-time bowler Yuvraj Singh and Ashok Dinda struck in the first Twenty20 match at Pune.

Dinda dismissed Jos Buttler and Tim Bresnan.

Buttler smashed 33 off 21 balls to steer England to 157 after they lost wickets at regular interval.

After 10 overs, England lost Hales, who was bowled by Yuvraj and one ball later he dismissed skipper Eoin Morgan.

Earlier, Opener Alex Hales smashed a quick half-century to provide steady start to the England innings against Indiain their first Twenty20 match at Pune.
 
After ten overs, England were at 89 for the loss of one wicket. Hales was unbeaten on 52 off 30 balls.

England lost opener Michael Lumb early in the match when Ravichandran Ashwin trapped him leg before wicket.
 
However, Hales and Luke Wright (34) gave the visitors a solid start. Hales smashed two big sixes and seven fours.
 
Indian bowlers except Ashwin were economical. MS Dhoni surprised the commentators when he got Virat Kohli to bowl.
