India take on Middlesex in their warm-up match ahead of the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series against England at Lord’s on Friday.
Meanwhile, Indian batsman Suresh Raina has stated that the Indian team must get their act straight and show character during the upcoming Royal Bank One-Day International series against England.
The southpawâs comments come in after India were handed a 1-3 thrashing in the recently concluded Test series and are currently in low spirits following criticism from all corners, including the media and former players.
âThe team is going through a difficult phase right now and it is time for us to show character. It can be difficult sometimes to move on from such defeat but you have to fight your way out of it when youâre playing at the international level, â Raina was quoted as saying to BCCI.tv.
Squads:
Middlesex: Eoin Morgan (c), Joe Denly, Neil Dexter, Steven Finn, Nick Gubbins, James Harris, Ryan Higgins, Dawid Malan, Ravi Patel, Harry Podmore, Ollie Rayner, Gurinder Sandhu, John Simpson (wk), Paul Stirling.
