New Zealand reached a score of 29 runs for no loss at lunch on day three of the second Test match against India at Bengaluru on Sunday.

After bowling out India in the first session, New Zealand took a slender lead of 41 runs at lunch.

Indian bowlers were unsuccessful in getting early wickets as only five overs were bowled before lunch was called.

Earlier, India were bowled out for 353 runs in the first inning following Virat Kohli’s century.

Kohli scored his second Test century as India reduced the lead in the first session. He was aided byMS Dhoni as both shared a 122-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Soon after Kohli s dismissal, Indian innings started crumbling as skipper too departed for 62 runs.
