Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the sixth ODI between India and South Africa at SuperSport Park, Centurion. I am Vishal Mehra and will be providing you with the live updates, insights and interesting tweets from this match. Having pocketed the series 4-1 at Port Elizabeth, India will look to continue domination over the hosts, who are yet to crack the spin code.

India’s victory in the fifth ODI ensured them their first bilateral series win in South Africa. The Virat Kohli-led unit also ensured that they will return as the No.1 ODI side.

The teams are returning to Centurion for the third time in this series. India lost the second Test at this venue but went on to win the second ODI. Centurion is the only venue in South Africa where India have a better head-to-head record against hosts.

For India, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahl have bagged 30 wickets between them. Kuldeep is three wickets away from being the highest wicket-taker in a bilateral series in ODI history. The list is headed by Javagal Srinath and Amit Mishra, who have 18 wickets each. Kuldeep is currently tied at the third spot with Rashid Khan.

Kohli has hinted that India may try their bench strength for this game. Meanwhile, for South Africa, they will hope to finish this series on a high, in order to carry the momentum for the T20I series that follows.
