Hello and welcome to the live blog of Day Five of the third Test between India and Sri Lanka. I am Vishal Mehra, and will bring all the live updates from Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. 

In a bid to chase 410, Sri Lanka were reeling at 31 for 3 at close of Day 4. Ravindra Jadeja struck twice in the final session. Mohammed Shami ended the day with the wicket of opener Sadeera Samarawickrama. Bad light and smog stopped pay early. Dhanajaya de Silva remained unbeaten on 13 and Angelo Mathews is yet to open his account.

Smog got the better of the Sri Lanka players on Day 4 as well. The players were seen wearing the masks. Eventually Suranga Lakmal threw up twice. A doctor at the stadium examined three Sri Lankan players and said their vital signs were normal. Earlier, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s fifties helped India set up a formidable target against Sri Lanka. No Test team has chased down 410 since 2003, when the West Indies defeated Australia after making 418 runs.

Birthday boy Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with his knock of 67. Lakmal, Lahiru Gamage, Dilruwan Perera, Lakshan Sandakan and Dhanajaya ended with wicket apiece.
