Hello and welcome to the live blog of Day Four of the third Test between India and Sri Lanka. I am Vishal Mehra, and will bring all the live updates from Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.

Day Four belonged to Sri Lanka. Angelo Mathews and skipper Dinesh Chandimal smashed centuries. Mathews ended his two-year century drought. Along with Chandimal, he added 181 runs until Ravichandran Ashwin broke the partnership.

Sri Lanka were 356 for 9 when bad light stopped play with Chandimal (147) and Lakshan Sandakan (0) at the crease. They trail by 180 runs in their first innings. Ashwin lead the bowling attack, bagging three wickets. The likes of Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja ended with 2 wickets each. Meanwhile, Sadeera Samarawickrama, who has been out of action since Day One due to concussion, was back on the field after clearing a test by neurologist.

The pollution levels worsened on Monday. There were concentration of the smallest and most harmful airborne pollutants, 18 times the World Health Organization’s (WHO) safe level, found just before the players took lunch.
