Hello and welcome to CricketCountry s live updates of the third ODI between India and West Indies.
OUT! India win the 3rd ODI and take an assailable 2-0 lead in the series. Kuldeep Yadav turned it around for the visitors taking yet another 3-for in his young career. On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin picked up his 150th ODI wicket when he nabbed Miguel Cumming.

OUT! After playing some entertaining shots in the middle Rovman Powell's innings has come to an end. Unable to pick Kuldeep Yadav, Powell ended up scoping a simple catch to Hardik Pandya at square leg.
Both Rovman Powell and Jason Mohammed are riding their luck in the middle. Powell has been entertaining to say the least. His battle with Umesh Yadav is great viewing. Jason on the other hand is playing with a steady head and keeping the scoreboard ticking.

OUT! Pandya gets the elder Hope brother as well. Shai Hope looking to pull a short-ball gets cramped for room as the ball hits the top of his helmet and bounces back to the bowler only after taking a thick edge. Jason Holder is out in the middle.
OUT! Kuldeep Yadav was looking threatening for the West Indies. Roston Chase's torrid time against the spinners continues. He failed to pick the wrong un from Kuldeep and gave away too much room. He also failed against Afghanistan's spinner Rashid Khan in the 3-ODI series.

Kyle Hope and Shai Hope have batted with conviction in the middle1 Both have denied India any success after the fall of Evin Lewis. West Indies are way ahead of India after the finish of the first powerplay. Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav have replaced Umesh and Bhuvi.
This has been a brilliant spell of fast bowling by Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Apart from a few lose balls everything has been on the money. Kyle Hope and Shai Hope have been able to absorb a fierce spell to ensure that West Indies do not suffer an early collapse.

Evin Lewis and Kyle Hope are out in the middle for West Indies. Bhuvneshwar Kumar started the proceedings for India. It will be interesting to see how the track will play in the second innings with sun beaming down on it.
Dhoni's final overs onslaught meant that India somehow managed to reach the 251 mark. Dhoni who was slow to start his innings, took the game away from the West Indies' bowlers. Kedar Jadhav in his first outing with the bat in the series, took full control of the pace and launched into the attack. He played his hand with a 26-ball 40.
50 for Dhoni. This has been an uncharacteristic knock by him. Dhoni looked out of his element against the spinners, while trying to muster runs against the faster bowlers. Kedar Jadhav was lucky to stay out in the middle after the bails decided not to fall getting hit by the ball.
India look to accelerate after being kept under the pump for long. Dhoni and Rahane have struggled to get going and will like to flex their muscles from now on. Miguel Cummins comes into bowl the 42nd over.
India 134 for 3 (36)
India marching along slowly. The track has been slow and will assist the Indian spinner against a lacklustre West Indies' line-up. India must have read the pitch by now and would be eyeing somewhere close to 260-270. Remember such scores? ;p

Yuvraj departs courtesy a wise review by Bishoo-Holder. It was a fair delivery, pad first and three reds meant Yuvraj had to walk back. It was a chancy innings by the southpaw as his struggles were evident against the short balls and at times against spin, Bishoo in particular.
Yuvraj Singh and Ajinkya Rahane milking runs at ease. The field is wide open for them to make full use. Nurse and Bishoo continue to bowl in tandem.
Yuvraj and Rahane building on after Kohli's departure. Holder has shuffled his bowlers by bringing in Ashley Nurse and Kerserk Williams. Should one of the pace spearhad continued for a little longer? Nurse gets a wicket in his first five overs, but a spinner eases the pressure created by pacers with the field spread. What say mates?
End of powerplay overs. India were starting to recover from the early jolt of Shikhar Dhawan, but Jason Holder sends Virat Kohli packing. Kohli tried to guide it towards third man, but a stunner from debutant Kyle Hope, in gully, dismissed him for 11. Some chin music for Yuvraj Singh as he comes out in the middle....

OUT! Shikhar Dhawan trying to play the ball above the third man fielder hands a simple catch to Roston Chase for 2. The dampness and moisture in the pitch is his undoing also Dhawan was guilty of using his wrists than the shoulder to ramp the ball up and over.
India will look to spent some time int he middle and take notice of the damp conditions that are on offer. India again did not opt to bring in Rishabh Pant in the playing XI much to the disappointment of the fans. West Indies, meanwhile have roped in Kyle Hope and Kesrick Williams, both are making debut for them. Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane will look to make good use of their form yet again.
