TOSS UPDATE: India win toss, elect to bat.

India have already suffered a major blow in the tour as Mohammed Shami may not be a part of the Indian team during the tour any longer. Gujarat fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has been put on standby, just in case Shami does not recover from his injury. Shami was a key part in India s excellent show in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, finishing as the second highest wicket-taker in the tournament. He played a few matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2015-16 and had gained fitness.

This match will be a good chance for players like Manish Pandey and Rishi Dhawan, who neither batted nor bowled in the T20 match. Ishant Sharma too did not bowl and it will be highly surprising, if he does not bowl in this match, considering he is one of India s frontline bowlers. Roht Sharma, who did not spend much time at the crease will be surely given another chance ahead of the ODI series.
