Ireland will aim to take the advantage of a weakened England side in their one-off One-Day International at Malahide in Dublin on Tuesday.

With only four survivors from England’s last 50-over contest, the Champions Trophy final against India in June, Ireland will scent another upset and a repeat of their famous victory in Bangalore at the 2011 World Cup.

It will be a full-strength Ireland line-up, although they are likely to face two compatriots among the opposition.

One is a certainty because Eoin Morgan has been named as captain, in place of the rested Alastair Cook, for the second successive time against his native country and Boyd Rankin is expected to make his ODI debut as well, AFP reported.

Teams:

Ireland:  William Porterfield(c), Paul Stirling, Ed Joyce, Niall O’Brien (wk), Gary Wilson, Kevin O’Brien, John Mooney, Trent Johnston, George Dockrell, Tim Murtagh, Max Sorensen.

England: Michael Carberry, Luke Wright, James Taylor, Gary Ballance, Eoin Morgan (c), Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler (wk), Ben Stokes, James Tredwell, Steven Finn, Boyd Rankin.
