The second Day saw J & K get bowled out for 330 after an overnight score of 247 for seven. Monish Kareparambil was the top wicket-taker for Kerala with three wickets, while he was helped by contributions from Nidheesh MD, Ahamed Farzeen, Raiphi Gomez, who took two wickets each.

Kerala managed to get 158 runs under their belt in response for the loss of two wickets in form of VA Jagadeesh and Akshay Kodoth. Jagadeesh fell to the run out mode of dismissal after scoring 69 runs. Kodoth was caught by skipper Mithun Manhas of Ram Dayal. Rohan Prem went to stumps unbeaten at 67, while Sachin Baby was fresh at the crease with just 5 runs scored. The well-set Prem must look to go on to score a hundred.
