Batting first, Jammu and Kashmir could not make any impact as their first innings ended with 138 runs. None of the batsmen could do justice and Amir Sofi emerged as the highest run-getter for their side with 32 runs. From Saurashtra, it was Shaurya Sanandia who took a fifer giving away just 53 runs and remained the most impactful bowler.

Coming out to bat, Saurashtra performed extremely well as they have already got the lead by 12 runs. Opener Sagar Jogiyani missed out on his half century, scoring 41 as his team reached 150 by the end of day one. A V Vasavada and Sheldon Jackson will bat on day 2. Amongst the Jammu and Kashmir bowlers, Sameer Ali and Zahoor Sofi got a wicket each.
