Adil Reshi was unbeaten at stumps on the second day, having reached seven runs off 24 balls with the help of a boundary.

Almost every batsman from the Jharkhand team scored runs, apart from their opener Shiv Gautam, who fell for a three-ball duck. The second wicket partnership of 189 runs for the second wicket between Ishan Kishan and Anand Singh helped Jharkhand not only recover, but also set a strong platform for a big first innings total. While Ishan scored 109, Anand amassed 124 runs from 225 balls with the help of 19 fours and a six. Ishan Jaggi was unfortunate to have missed out on a century as he fell for 93, whereas Kaushal Singh scored 81 and Saurabh Tiwary made 63.
