Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the seventh match of the ongoing inaugural edition of the Masters Champions League (MCL) on Wednesday between Gemini Arabians and Capricorn Commanders. The match will take place at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium at 7.30 pm local time. The Arabians and Commanders are led by Virender Sehwag and Paul Collingwood respectively. Sehwag, one of India’s most destructive batsmen across formats, has led the Arabians to two consecutive victories in the tournament so far for them to top the table at the moment. Capricorn Commanders, on the other hand, managed to gain their first points in the tournament against Sagittarius Strikers in a closely fought contest. They had lost their opening game by 24 runs to Leo Lions.

In their second game against Leo Lions, Muralitharan’s 4 for 19 stifled the opposition to 132 for 7, before Sangakkara (41 not out) and Brad Hodge  (65 not out) guided their side to a comfortable eight-wicket win.
