Bangalore: Dec 25, 2012

Pakistan need just 134 runs to win the first T20 against India at Banglore as the hosts collapsed followed a good start given by their openers.

Pakistani bowlers stayed patient and stepped on the gas at the right time as they ran through the Indian middle-order to restrict them to 133 for nine in 20 overs. The leading wicket taker in T20s in 2012, Saeed Ajmal and Umar Gul bowled brilliantly to dismantle the Indian batting line-up, as the duo picked up  5 wickets between them.

Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane failed to capitalize on the good start as Pakistan bowlers dug into the Indian batting line-up after the home side did well to score 75 runs in the first 10 overs.

Brief Scores: India 133 for 9 (Gautam Gambhir 43, Ajinkya Rahane 42; Saeed Ajmal 2 for 25, Umar Gul 3 for 21 ) vs Pakistan
