Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of the ICC World Cup 2015, fifth warm-up match between Asian giants Pakistan and Bangladesh at Sydney. I am Sandipan Banerjee and i will bring you the live updates of the match.

Pakistan come into the ICC World Cup 2015 with happy memories from the last time a World Cup was held in Australia and New Zealand, which was way back in 1992. Some of the rules from that World Cup have been replicated as two new balls are being used in One-Day International cricket again. But that’s where the similarities cease to exist. Field restrictions, massive bats and flatter pitches etc should make this one a run-feast as opposed to the 1992 World Cup when sometimes a score in excess of 200 was formidable. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: SCHEDULE & MATCH DETAILS

Pakistan have been dented in their lead-up to the World Cup with the unfortunate and untimely injury to Mohammad Hafeez. Nasir Jamshed has been named his replacement. But the good news for Pakistan is that Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action has been cleared by the International Cricket Council which gives him an outside chance to make it to the Pakistan squad for the ICC World Cup 2015. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: POINTS TABLE

Bangladesh are being led my Mashrafe Mortaza. Its Mortaza’s second stint as Bangladesh skipper. Bangladesh haven’t enjoyed a great year in run-up to the ICC World Cup 2015 considering their solitary series victory came against Zimbabwe at home at the conclusion of an otherwise dismal year.
