Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the fifth day of the second Test between Pakistan and England at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday. This is Suraj Choudhari here, and I shall be presenting to you the live updates from the happenings of the match. Day 4  was totally dominated by Pakistan as their batsman piled on the runs and bowlers picked up early wickets to make it tough for England to survive final day. The morning session belong to Younis Khan and Asad Shafiq who steered hosts in a dominating position. Day 5 will probably decide the fate of the Test with Pakistan looking to take 1-0 lead and England trying to save this match. Pakistan need more seven wickets and England needing more 361 runs at stumps on Day 4 with only Joe Root left to shoulder the responsibility. LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 312 all out: Yasir Shah strikes once again for Pakistan as he dismissed the determined Adil Rashid for 61. Pakistan won the second Test by 178 runs and lead the three-match series by 1-0. Rashid attempted a cover drive on a tossed up delivery from Yasir only to be caught at covers by Zulfiqar Babar. OUT! LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 312/9 in 136 Overs, BATTING: Adil Rashid 61(169), James Anderson 0(7): Game of a cat and a mouse going in Dubai at the moment as both the teams are fighting for glory. Adil Rashid not ready to give it away, whereas James Anderson looks a bit in discomfort. WIth 8 overs to play, expect few breathtaking last moments in this iconic Test.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 304/8 in 128 Overs, BATTING: Adil Rashid 57(147), Mark Wood 26(76): Pakistan in a desperate need of a wicket and are trying their best to pick it. They don’t have any reviews left and have unsuccessfully appealed for few decisions which didn’t go their way. Adil Rashid and Mark Wood not giving away anything and have created a turmoil for Pakistan in the middle. If they continue to bat in this manner, they will be creating history  with just 16 overs left to be played. The partnership has now accounted for 50 runs between them and continue to add more.

The have delayed the results and carried this game in the final session of the day. Adil Rashid and Mark Wood playing a wonderful innings out there in the middle and sailing the english ship swiftly towards safe shores. The have to play out more 21 overs to save the Test for England. And looking at the way they’re going at the moment its pretty much in their grasp. Rashid also brought up his maiden Test fifty and a much needed for his side.

Rashid is playing a gem of an innings and is equally supported by Mark Wood. The ball is turning drastically and Pakistani bowlers are giving their everything to get another wicket.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 281/8 in 111 Overs, BATTING: Adil Rashid 44(98), Mark Wood 16(23): Adil Rashid showing some serious temperament out in the middle. He’s playing a good innings out there and yet to play 33 overd displaying some exquisite skills against spin bowling. Rashid got a reprieve as Mohammad Hafeez dropped him.Mark Wood on the other hand has attacked Wahab Riaz and has taken him for boundaries. England are yet to play 33 overs of the day and if they confront it they will script history. They need 210 runs more to win this Test.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 259/8 in 105 Overs, BATTING: Adil Rashid 37(82), Mark Wood 2(4): Finally, Wahab Riaz provides the much needed breakthrough for Pakistan as he cleans Stuart Broad’s stumps with a beautiful yorker. Wahab kept bowling some short pitched deliveries and set him up with a deadly inswinging yorker. England are runs away from victory and Pakistan have moved a step forward towards it. LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 241/7 in 100 Overs, BATTING: Adil Rashid 28(62), Stuart Broad 23(34): Stuart Broad and Adil Rashid not letting anything loose as they have stuck to their grounds and giving Pakistan a run for their money. Is this match has a turn around? Well if these two continue in the same manner, England will definitely save the day. They need more 250 runs to win with 44 overs to play.

Both Broad and Rashid are taking on the Pakistani bowlers and looking to attack. They need a lot and lot of those boundaries. Pakistan has now brought Yasir Shah back in action and one can expect wickets to tumble as the ball is turning. Runs have started to flow for England but they have lost wickets aplenty.

England have lost their last recognised batsman in the form of Stokes. Pakistan is on the brink of an enormous victory. LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 183/6 in 85 Overs, BATTING: Ben Stokes 9(57), Adil Rashid 4(14): Out!!!! Jonny Bairstow done and dusted by Yasir Shah. Bairstow once again failed to justify his selection and was caught by Younis Khan at first slip. The game is pretty much over for England with more than 300 runs to win. LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 175/5 in 79 Overs, BATTING: Ben Stokes 8(42), Jos Buttler 5(19): Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler providing some much needed resistance in middle. They have a long way to and the patch is getting narrower by every passing moment. England need  316 more runs to win and their last recognised batting pair is at the crease.

Jonny Bairstow went for the turn and Yasir foxed him with a google which ripped through his defenses and shattered the stumps. England are pretty much done out here and a victory for Pakistan is on the cards. England need more 324 runs to win with just five more wickets in hand. LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 160/4 in 69 Overs, BATTING: Jonny Bairstow 21(82), Ben Stokes 0(5): England in all sorts of trouble as Joe Root has been dismissed by Zulfiqar Babar for a well played score of 71. Root while defending a delivery from Babar got a thin edge which was cleanly taken by Younis Khan at first slip. LIVE CRICKET SCORE England 153/3 in 64 Overs, BATTING: Joe Root 69(163), Jonny Bairstow 16(56): Spinners are into the attack now with Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar sharing the ball. England batsmen look cautious and have not given any room for error. If they manage to play out the entire day, they will surely win the battle as they now need 338 runs to taste the victory. With Joe Root at the crease, England can see a ray of hope.

The morning session is very crucial as wickets have fallen in abundance on couple of occasions. England need another 353 runs to win with another with seven wickets to spare. Pakistani bowlers are steaming in and testing the Englishmen with some short pitched stuff. Runs have dried up at the moment and England need not to worry about that.

England will resume batting at 130/3 with more 361 more to win. Pakistan  need more seven wickets to win a memorable Test after nearly saving the first Test at Abu Dhabi.Yasir Khan will look to mount on more pressure  on the England who were not able to pick his leg-break. Joe Root will look to continue his good form with the bat with Jonny Bairstow  in the middle .
