PAK WIN!!!! That’s it, Pakistan have won the series comfortably with a seven-wicket win in the 4th T20I. Shehzad’s half-century, and Azam’s 38 does it. As for the Windies, it is a reality check, while they have tons of homework to do before the ODI series.

GONE!!! Some late comeback by the West indies, as Babar Azam is gone for 38 off Williams after being caught by substitute Rovamn Powell. Still topo late for the Windies. PAK 116/3

  • 12:54 AM IST

GONE!!!! Ahmed Shehzad is dismissed right after scoring his half-century, as he falls for 53 to Williams, who bowls him up, while Shoaib Malik makes his way in. However, it seems to be too late for the Windies. PAK 110/2

  • 12:42 AM IST

The same story continues as still no harm done for PAK, while they slowly, but steadily cruise towards a series win.

  • 12:14 AM IST

GONE!!!! The opening breakthrough is finally here for the Windies, as they get rid of the dangerous Kamran Akmal, who is dismissed for 20 by Marlon Samuels after being caught off Kesrick Williams, as Babar Azam makes his way in. Can this be the beginning of the end for PAK? PAK 40/1

  • 12:05 AM IST

Slow, but steady start by the Pakistan openers. No harm done, while they looks to bat steady and bat it out until the end to see Pakistan home and the series. West Indies need to come up with something extra-ordinary here.

  • 11:34 PM IST

Pakistan have halted West Indies at 124. Excellent bowling from Pakistan. Every bowler from their team has made his presence by taking at least 1 wicket. Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan were the best bowlers getting 2 wickets and conceding just 12 and 16 runs in their 4 overs each.

  • 11:32 PM IST

Carlos Brathwaite has again come to his team’s rescue. He belted vital 11 runs off Wahab Riaz’s over which was the 19th over of the game. Wahab did get the wicket of Sunil Narine on the last delivery. But Hasan Ali has bowled some excellent balls in his last over. He has just conceded 3 runs in the 20th over.

West Indies are in a precarious situation here. They have lost all their major batsmen in a flurry. The Pakistan bowlers have tightened the noose on the scoring. Runs are really hard to come for the hosts and they scored a boundary after 29 deliveries. This is also the first time that West Indies have played out 3 maidens in this game.

  • 10:55 PM IST

What is happening! Hasan Ali is on fire here. He has clean bowled Marlon Samuels. Full length delivery which comes into the batsman after pitching bangs on top of middle and leg stump.

  • 10:46 PM IST

This has been an excellent bowling display from Pakistan. They have got the two essential wickets of both West Indies opener and since then the Men in Green have capitalised well on the situation. Also, credit must be given to Sarfraz Ahmed as he has introduced Shadab Khan quickly into the attack after the second wicket. Shadab along with fellow pacer Hasan Ali have applied brakes to the Pakistan batting. And just as I was about to post this update, Hasan has cleaned bowled Jason Mohammad. He Yorked the ball with as little bit of swing, a little bit of seam and the ball just nipped back after pitching. Jason had no answer to this.!

  • 10:21 PM IST

GONE!!!! Oh dear, a wicket for PAK, but for West indies, it’s a heart break, as the Man of the Match of the last game departs for mere seven to Imad Wasim after being caught by Hasan Ali. Can this be the turning point of the game? Meanwhile, veteran Marlon Samuels is the new man in.

شام بخیر! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog session of the fourth and final Twenty20 International (T20I) between Pakistan and West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad on Sunday. I am Ayush Gupta, and I will be bringing you all the live updates from this contest. West Indies, after trailing 2-0 in the series, made a smashing comeback by winning the third T20I last evening. Pakistan had an opportunity to seal the series, but West Indies’ collective bowling effort kept them at bay. Nonetheless, they still lead the series 2-1. With momentum in the hosts’ favor, the final encounter is expected to be a high-octane one. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: Pakistan vs West Indies, 4th T20I at Port of Spain

Pakistan, after winning the toss, elected to bat first. They wanted to make full use of the nature of the track. However, they got off to a poor start, losing Ahmed Shahzad and Imad Wasim early in their innings. But the duo of Babar Azam and Kamran Akmal steered the sinking ship and took them past the 50-run mark. The respite did not last long, though. Wicket of Kamran led to another batting collapse that saw Pakistan lose 6 wickets for 46 runs.

West Indies, chasing 139 run to win, got off to a dreadful start as well. They lost Chadwick Walton in the second over. But Evin Lewis came to the rescue and anchored the innings that saw miniscule vital contributions from only Marlon Samuels (18) and Jason Mohammed (17). Lewis, who deserved a hundred, got out on 91 off 51 inclusive of 4 fours and 9 sixes. West Indies, in the end, managed to win the third T20 by 7 wickets with 5 overs still remaining.

Lewis was adjudged Man of the Match for his knock of 91.
